Local Attractions

The inland resort of the Lake de Guerledan is about 30 minutes and has plenty of water sports available including kayaks, pedalos and restaurant pleasure cruises.

Within the area of Lanrivain is a large reservoir where, in the summer, supervised water sports are held and for a small sum anyone can hire a canoe, kayak or sailboard.

Close by is the “Toul Goulic”, a beautiful valley where a river vanishes under huge boulders only to reappear gushing out from under the rocks.

The local village of St Nicolas du Pelem (7km) has a large supermarket, bank/cash point, bar, restaurants, post office, bakers etc and can provide for all your needs.

There is also an outdoor heated swimming pool, in season, which can be reached by bike from the cottages.

Guingamp is an historic market town and offers plenty of small specialist shops.

There is an indoor swimming complex with three pools, opening times vary throughout the year.

The nearby commune of Kérien has an extensive network of VTT (footpaths and mountain bike) trails that can be used by all.

There are plenty of local country markets available on different days of the week and offering all kinds of local delicacies and produce. Most markets will only be in the town during the morning from about 9am through to 1pm.
